While cookie dough is definitely a great tasting option, there are some good healthy options for snacks too (sorry Allison, not all of us are as skinny as you and can afford to eat cookie dough!):
Fruit is always awesome Yogurt And for those of us that have a really big sweet tooth--Hostess just came out with 100 calorie packs of cupcakes. The chocolate ones are only 1 point on Weight Watchers, and the other two flavors (vanilla and carrot) are 2 points on WW. Those are definitely great, I highly recommend them!
Just for the record- I didn't leave that comment, I'm pretty sure that Cara did- and I think that an awesome snack food( as long as you ration out) are almonds- good for you and filling!
OK for the record I did not leave any of the previous comments. Word on the street is that the ween machine is instigating all of the trouble.
1. cookie dough is not a snack food, it's a main dish.
2. fruit and veggies are easily the best-for-you snacks. eating some nuts with fruit is always delicious (just make sure the nuts aren't super salted and oil-coated). my favorite portable fruits are bananas, apples, peaches/plums (in season), and clementines
3. if you need to eat a quick snack at home, hummus with any fresh veggie (broccoli, bell pepper, tomato, celery) is fast
I got some great tips from Jeanne Morton last night....she and call eat Sugar-free bullets by Blue Bell...they are 15 or 30 cal (can't remember which...but they love them)...that is their dessert
